Abstract

This article examines the main functions of phraseological units in fiction. Their role in creating imagery, emotional and expressive context, authorial evaluation, and the national and cultural specificity of a literary text is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the stylistic potential of phraseological units and their significance in shaping the author's individual style.
