This article highlights the role of technical regulations in the railway transport system and the issues of ensuring traffic safety through their proper implementation. The study is based on an analysis of international experience, regulatory documents, and existing technical standards. In addition, the consequences of non-compliance with regulations and effective ways of their implementation are discussed.
