This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of centralizing dispatching control of operational activities in railway transport. The development of dispatching management systems, the effectiveness of centralized control, the role of modern information and communication technologies, and international experience are analyzed. In addition, the advantages of centralized dispatching control are substantiated from the perspective of improving railway traffic safety, optimizing transportation processes, and reducing operational costs.
