Abstract

The transition toward a green economy has become a central pillar of contemporary development strategies aimed at reconciling economic growth with environmental sustainability and social inclusion. This article examines the economic and social implications of the green economy transition through a synthesis of global empirical evidence and policy-oriented analysis. The study emphasizes the role of renewable energy deployment, green fiscal instruments, and institutional governance in shaping sustainable growth trajectories. By integrating macroeconomic indicators with labor market outcomes and innovation dynamics, the paper demonstrates that the green transition is not merely an environmental agenda but a structural transformation of economic systems. The findings suggest that countries adopting coherent green policies experience enhanced investment attractiveness, job creation, and long-term resilience, while poorly designed transitions may exacerbate inequality and inflationary pressures.
