This article examines modern student slang as an essential component of contemporary youth discourse. It analyzes the semantic structure, functional features, and communicative purposes that slang fulfills within student communities. Particular attention is given to the role of slang expressions in constructing group identity, shaping a distinct speech style, and reflecting social trends characteristic of today’s youth communication.
