Abstract

 This article reflects the results of a scientific study aimed at studying how modal auxiliary words are expressed in the Uzbek language within the framework of academic discourse, their categories, use and significance. The main goal of the study is to identify the logical, semantic and pragmatic aspects of modal auxiliary words and to formulate their place in linguistic theory. The article was prepared for a scientific journal and has important experience and results for linguists, linguistics and academic discourse analysts.
