Abstract

This article scientifically analyzes the teacher's speech technique and speech culture as an important component of pedagogical activity. The phonetic, lexical, grammatical and pragmatic aspects of the teacher's speech, as well as the main components of speech technique - voice, breathing, articulation, pronunciation and intonation, are covered. The impact of speech culture on the student's personality, its role in ensuring effective communication in the educational process and its importance in forming the teacher's professional competence are substantiated. Scientific and practical recommendations are also given on ways to develop speech technique and culture.
