Postpartum depression is a mental disorder that develops after pregnancy and childbirth, negatively affecting maternal health, child development, and family functioning. This article analyzes cultural characteristics (e.g., family support, traditional role expectations, stigma) and psychological approaches (screening, CBT, IPT, digital interventions, social support programs) based on scientific literature and recent research. The paper reviews the cultural adaptation of standard assessment tools such as the EPDS, the effectiveness of digital psychotherapy and remote interventions, and highlights the lack of data in Central Asia (including Uzbekistan), offering recommendations for future research.Downloads
