A GLANCE AT SYMBOLIC IMAGES IN ABDULLA SHER’S POETRY

Abstract
Abdulla Sher possesses a broad creative universe and has created a chain of diverse artistic images. The poet not only turned to lyric poetry and composed lyrical poems, but also wrote poetic epics belonging to the genre of the lyrical-epic type. His poetic epics demonstrate originality, a wide range of themes, and a unique world of symbols. When creating his works, Abdulla Sher adheres to his own artistic method: he does not divide his characters into black and white, instead entrusting this role to the reader. His beautiful metaphors, mastery of diction, and artistic expressiveness deserve special attention. This article provides a historical classification of images in Abdulla Sher’s poetry, analyzes each of them separately, and attempts to reveal the author’s artistic purpose. The main arguments related to this topic have been expressed in the article.
