Cancer remains one of the most challenging health problems worldwide, requiring not only effective medical interventions but also long-term rehabilitation strategies. Advances in oncology have shifted cancer treatment from single-modality therapies to comprehensive, multidisciplinary approaches. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy remain the core treatment modalities, tailored to the patient’s tumor type, stage, and overall health. However, beyond survival, quality of life has emerged as a crucial outcome measure. Cancer patients often suffer from physical, psychological, and social consequences of the disease and its treatment, such as fatigue, pain, immune suppression, depression, and decreased functional capacity. Rehabilitation programs, including physical therapy, nutritional support, psychological counseling, and social reintegration, are essential for holistic patient care. The integration of palliative care ensures symptom management and dignity in advanced stages. Recent developments highlight personalized medicine, survivorship programs, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation as critical components of oncology. This article examines comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation approaches, analyzing clinical strategies, patient-centered interventions, and future perspectives in cancer care. The ultimate goal is to optimize treatment outcomes, enhance quality of life, and facilitate reintegration into society for oncology patients.
