Abstract
This article analyzes the impact of investments directed to the telecommunications sector on the economy. It examines how funds invested in telecommunications infrastructure contribute to countries’ economic development, and their role in improving the business environment and stimulating innovation. The study draws conclusions based on the existing academic literature, statistical data, and analytical methods. Investments in telecommunications are evaluated as an important factor in increasing production efficiency, creating new jobs, and developing the digital economy. The results show that the effectiveness of investments depends on state policy, the level of development of technological infrastructure, and effective use of international experience. Therefore, making investment decisions in the telecommunications sector requires a long‑term strategic approach.
