Abstract

The optimization of pharmaceutical services represents a cornerstone for improving public health outcomes and strengthening health systems worldwide. Pharmacies, as the most accessible healthcare facilities, provide not only drug dispensing but also counseling, pharmacovigilance, and preventive health services. This article aims to evaluate existing challenges in community pharmacy services and propose evidence-based strategies for enhancing pharmaceutical care quality. A mixed-methods approach, including literature analysis and practical case studies from developing healthcare systems, highlights the role of regulation, professional training, digital health technologies, and patient-centered models in advancing pharmacy practice. The results indicate that integrated, standardized, and patient-oriented pharmaceutical services contribute significantly to medication safety, rational drug use, and overall health system efficiency.
