LOGISTIC CONCEPTS AND MICROLOGISTIC SYSTEMS USED IN THE PRACTICE OF LARGE MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISES

Abstract
This article describes logistics concepts and micrologistics systems employed by many successful foreign companies in business. In particular, it highlights the JIT (Just-In-Time), Kanban micrologistics system, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) concepts used initially by Japan’s Toyota Motors company and later adopted by other Japanese automotive firms.
