This article analyzes current issues in forming the technical creativity and inventive abilities of students studying in the higher education system, specifically within the field of technological education. It highlights the psychological and pedagogical foundations of inventive activity, international experiences, and the importance of a creative approach to resolving technical problems in the national economy. The article puts forward specific proposals and recommendations for enhancing the culture of invention.
