Their formation represents one of the most important stages in the history of each country. This article examines the historical stages of the development of constitutions in countries around the world. It highlights the evolution from early constitutional ideas in ancient times to modern systems of written and unwritten constitutions. The content, form, and legal significance of constitutions are analyzed. The research findings reveal the impact of constitutional development on state-building and civil society.
