This article examines some shortcomings and problems in the management system of railway transport industrial enterprises. Proposals have been developed for the application of modern principles of corporate governance in increasing the efficiency of the management system at enterprises. Also, based on a deep analysis, the influence of the management system’s effectiveness on the long-term development of industrial enterprises was studied.
