Abstract

In the scientific literature, unpaid household labor is considered as a set of activities aimed at maintaining household functioning and reproducing the labor force, which are not included in market turnover and do not receive monetary compensation. Such activities include childcare and eldercare, cooking, cleaning, laundry, household management, and the emotional support of family members.
