Abstract

Since gaining independence in 1991, the Republic of Uzbekistan has actively integrated into the international community and gradually shaped its foreign policy in close cooperation with international organizations. These institutions have played a significant role in defining the country’s diplomatic priorities, legal frameworks, economic reforms, and regional security strategies. This article examines the role of international organizations in the formation and evolution of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy, focusing on key organizations such as the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), and international financial institutions. The study analyzes how cooperation with these organizations has influenced Uzbekistan’s political orientation, legal development, regional diplomacy, and international standing.
