Language is not only a means of communication but also a powerful medium for preserving and transmitting cultural values, collective experience, and national identity. Proverbs, as concise and metaphorical linguistic units, reflect the worldview, moral principles, and social norms of a particular community. This article explores the interrelationship between language and culture through the analysis of Uzbek proverbs, focusing on how national mentality and cultural values are encoded in paremiological units. The study employs descriptive, semantic, and linguocultural analysis methods to examine proverbs related to labor, family, morality, and social relations. The findings reveal that Uzbek proverbs serve as a cultural repository that embodies historical experience, ethical norms, and collective wisdom. The article highlights the role of proverbs in shaping national consciousness and emphasizes their significance for linguistic, cultural, and educational studies.
