Abstract

This article discusses the role of artistic metaphor in poetic discourse and its significance in creating imagery and expressiveness. Traditional and individual types of artistic metaphors are described based on theoretical sources. Using examples from the poetry of Tilak Jo‘ra, the study analyzes the mechanisms of metaphorical meaning formation, figurative transfers based on inner similarity, and the artistic and aesthetic potential of occasional metaphors. The article reveals the role of metaphor in creating poetic images, expressing the author's individual style, and conveying poetic thought in an impressive and emotionally powerful manner.
