Abstract

 This article highlights the cultural life of Movarounnahr in Boburnoma, the historical work of the statesman and writer Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur. The work contains information about the historical image of cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Andijan, as well as the development of science and the literary environment. These materials are analyzed on the basis of Babur’s personal observations. The study demonstrates that “Boburnoma” is an important and reliable source for studying the history of Movarounnahr.
