Abstract

This article discusses innovative methods for developing media literacy in primary school students, their pedagogical potential, and their importance in modern education. The study examines the formation of students’ skills in analyzing information, understanding media materials correctly, critical thinking, and safe internet use. In addition, the effectiveness of interactive methods, digital technologies, media games, and creative tasks was analyzed. The results of the research show that the development of media literacy improves students’ independent thinking, information culture, and communicative competencies.
