This article examines the strategic development directions of Uzbekistan’s national aviation system. Based on a SWOT analysis, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the country’s air transport sector have been identified, and an effective development model has been designed. The article includes practical and scientific recommendations aimed at ensuring the sustainable growth of the aviation sector. Furthermore, it provides a comprehensive overview of Uzbekistan’s air transport infrastructure potential, service quality, competitiveness factors, and its role in international integration. In addition, the study develops modern mechanisms, a strategic development model, and approaches aligned with global trends for the modernization of the national aviation system based on an analysis of internal and external factors
