Abstract

The article discusses the relevance of the fissure sealing method as one of the most effective ways to prevent caries of the chewing surfaces. The analysis of various types of sealants (silants) is carried out, indications and contraindications to the procedure are described, and the methods of invasive and non-invasive sealing are described in detail. Special attention is paid to the long-term effectiveness of the method and the factors affecting the safety of the material.
