THE NATURE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF INFLAMMATORY PROCESSES IN PERIODONTAL TISSUES IN CHILDREN AND MODERN METHODS OF THEIR TREATMENT

Abstract
Inflammatory periodontal diseases are characterized by steady growth and widespread prevalence among children and adolescents. Periodontal diseases are most common in school-age children. Pathological changes in marginal periodontitis are observed in children with dental anomalies more than twice as often as in children without them. The main periodontal disease of inflammatory origin in children and adolescents is chronic catarrhal gingivitis. The microbial factor plays a leading role in the development of inflammatory periodontal diseases.
