Abstract

In modern educational environments, academic success is no longer defined solely by cognitive abilities, curriculum quality, or instructional strategies. Increasingly, researchers emphasize the significance of emotional factors in shaping how students learn, behave, and perform academically. Emotional support—understood as the encouragement, understanding, validation, and guidance that students receive from teachers, parents, and peers—has become one of the most powerful predictors of academic achievement. Students who feel emotionally supported tend to demonstrate greater motivation, stronger self-efficacy, higher resilience, and improved classroom engagement.
