Abstract

This study investigates effective methods to prevent lexical interference in English teaching at academic lyceums in Uzbekistan, integrating these approaches with the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan (2022–2026). Lexical interference, often caused by transfer from a learner's native language, reduces communicative accuracy and fluency. This research presents detailed pedagogical, methodological, and policy-based interventions, supported by empirical data from lyceum students, to enhance language proficiency and fulfill strategic educational goals.
