Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of the ways adjectives are formed in Uzbek and Turkish languages, which both belong to the Turkic language family. The study focuses on morphological and compositional methods of adjective formation and highlights similarities and differences in their structure and meaning. Morphological suffixes such as -li, -siz, -dor, -sal, -cı and compound forms like oqko‘ngil, tatlıdil, yumuşak huylu are analyzed in terms of productivity and function.
