NON-ALCOHOLIC FATTY LIVER DISEASE: CLINICAL FEATURES, DIAGNOSIS, AND MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES
Main Article Content
Abstract
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has emerged as the most common chronic liver disorder worldwide, strongly associated with obesity, metabolic syndrome, and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Its progression from simple steatosis to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), fibrosis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma underscores its clinical and public health importance. This article aims to review the clinical features, diagnostic methods, and management strategies for NAFLD within the context of modern hepatology.
