This study investigates the macroeconomic factors affecting unemployment in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries over the period 2004–2023, based on data extracted from the World Bank database. We constructed a model and conducted a regression analysis using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method to explore the relationships among the variables. The findings are presented below.
