Abstract
This article highlights the legal and practical powers of the prosecutor's office in combating crime, especially crime prevention, modern control mechanisms, and approaches. The work on crime prevention, the application of best international practices, and initiatives to raise the legal awareness of citizens will be analyzed. It is especially emphasized that in the activities of the prosecutor's office, crime prevention, rather than combating it, remains one of the priority strategies.
