This article examines the major barriers to effective language learning among students in the modern educational context. It highlights key challenges such as linguistic difficulties, complex grammatical structures, lack of motivation, fear of making mistakes, time constraints, and cultural differences. These factors often hinder learners’ progress, confidence, and overall language achievement. The article emphasizes that language learning is a multifaceted process influenced by linguistic, psychological, social, and cultural dimensions. Furthermore, it proposes practical strategies to overcome these obstacles, including supportive teaching practices, motivational techniques, learner autonomy, effective time management, and the integration of cultural awareness into language instruction. The study concludes that creating inclusive, learner-centered, and culturally responsive learning environments is essential for successful language acquisition in an increasingly globalized world.
