INCREASING ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY THROUGH THE DIVERSIFICATION OF TOURISM SERVICES IN THE AYDARKOL ECOTOURISM ZONE: STRATEGIES AND IMPLEMENTATION APPROACHES

This article analyzes the potential for increasing economic efficiency through the diversification of tourism services in the Aydar Lake ecotourism zone of Uzbekistan. Despite the region’s rich natural and cultural resources, tourism activities remain limited, reducing local economic benefits. Using SWOT analysis and official statistical data, the study identifies key challenges and opportunities for developing ecotourism, agrotourism, and ethnic tourism. The findings emphasize the importance of service diversification, infrastructure improvement, and local community involvement to ensure sustainable tourism development and enhance regional competitiveness.
