This scientific article examines the topic “Issues of Improving Financial Literacy of the Population” and analyzes the importance of enhancing financial literacy within society. The article explores the socio-economic significance of financial education and literacy, as well as their impact on national economies. The primary objective of the study is to analyze effective methodologies, programs, and strategies for improving financial literacy and to systematize best international practices in this field. The article first presents the concept of financial literacy and its role in society. Subsequently, the impact of expanding financial education on economic development, social welfare, and social equality is discussed. Particular attention is paid to the role of youth and educational institutions in improving financial literacy, as well as the potential contributions of the public and private sectors. The main conclusion of the article is that improving financial literacy contributes to ensuring economic prosperity and stability in society. Such education has a positive impact not only at the individual level but also on the stability of the entire economic system. Therefore, the importance of state policy in promoting financial education and the necessity of continuing research in this area are emphasized.
