Falls from height represent one of the most frequent causes of accidental and suicidal deaths encountered in forensic medicine. Determining the exact mechanism of death in such cases is often complex due to the multiplicity of injuries and postmortem changes. This article aims to analyze the forensic diagnostic features of falls from height, including external and internal injuries, histological changes, and pathophysiological mechanisms leading to death. The study highlights the significance of differentiating vital injuries from postmortem artifacts, as well as distinguishing accidental, suicidal, and homicidal falls.
