Abstract
This article covers the last decade of the 20th century and highlights the foreign policy activities of several French presidents. For example, it examines the foreign policies of François Mitterrand and Jacques Chirac, as well as their international engagements. Additionally, it discusses France’s role in the political and economic development of the European Union.
