Abstract

This article explores the prospects for enhancing the potential of tourism clusters through scientific research and knowledge transfer. It examines how the integration of academic research, innovation processes, and practical tourism activities contributes to improving the competitiveness and sustainability of tourism clusters. The study highlights the role of universities, research institutions, and industry stakeholders in generating and applying knowledge within cluster systems. Particular attention is given to mechanisms of knowledge dissemination, digital transformation, and collaborative governance models that support innovation in tourism development. The findings indicate that effective coordination between science and industry significantly strengthens the performance of tourism clusters, leading to improved service quality, innovation capacity, and sustainable regional growth.
