This article describes coxarthrosis (deforming arthrosis, osteoarthritis of the hip joint) as a degenerative-dystrophic disease that mainly affects middle-aged and elderly people. Coxarthrosis develops gradually over several years. It is accompanied by pain and limited mobility in the joint. Under Covid, coxarthrosis is now increasingly found in men and women. Especially often in men. The causes of the development of coxarthrosis and its treatment are given.
