Abstract

This article contains theoretical material on the Silver Age poetry that emerged in Russian literature at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, on the new movement of “Acmeism”, and cites as examples the work of the Acmeist poets Nikolai Gumilev and Anna Akhmatova.
