Abstract

The article examines the development of the most appropriate architectural recommendations for introducing traditional methods of forming commercial streets into modern urban planning practice. The study of functional and planning organization of commercial streets has both theoretical and practical significance. This knowledge is essential for restoring historic shopping streets and commercial centers in the historic cities of the East. The article is of special interest for urban planners, architects, and those interested in the history of architecture.

For developing restoration projects of shopping streets and complexes in historical cities using traditional methods of forming commercial streets, it is important to study the functional and planning organization of commercial streets and the architecture of historic centers of Eastern countries. [1].
