Abstract

The relationship between the city and water is one of the most fundamental aspects of sustainable urban development. This study explores the urban planning principles and engineering approaches to designing modern water supply systems that ensure environmental stability, social well-being, and economic efficiency. The article analyzes how urban spatial planning, infrastructure integration, and innovative technologies contribute to the resilience of urban water systems. The findings highlight that water infrastructure must be considered as a central component of the urban ecosystem, rather than as an independent technical service.
