Abstract

This article examines the theoretical foundations and modern significance of Albert Einstein's theory of relativity. It is noted that this theory radically changed our understanding of space, time, and matter, laying the foundation for the further development of quantum mechanics, astrophysics, and cosmology. Particular attention is paid to the application of the theory of relativity in modern research of high-energy particles, cosmic phenomena, and technological developments. Based on an analysis of the latest scientific sources, this article demonstrates the relevance of Einstein's ideas in the 21st century.
