The impact of living environment quality on health, psychological state, and the formation of human capital is noted. The author emphasizes the need to combine modern architectural solutions with the historical appearance of the city. In the context of urbanization, the threat of cultural heritage loss persists, therefore, the importance of preserving the historical and cultural environment as an element of national identity and a resource for the development of tourism and the economy is emphasized..
