THE DEVELOPMENT OF FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPERTISE AS AN IMPORTANT SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL PROCESS

Abstract

This article analyzes forensic psychological expertise as an important area of legal psychology from a scientific, theoretical and practical perspective. It highlights the subject, object, tasks and methodological foundations of forensic psychological expertise, and justifies the importance of assessing the psychological state of a person in criminal, civil and administrative cases. Also, the issues of determining the state of affect, cases involving minors, assessing the reliability of witness testimony and predicting the risk of recidivism are analyzed on the example of scientific research. The article examines the research of Uzbek scientists and the experience of developed countries on the basis of a comparative approach, revealing the role of forensic psychological expertise in ensuring a fair trial. The results of the study indicate the need to improve forensic psychological activities, increase the professional competence of experts and in-depth study of the human factor.
